Craven Concerts is proud of our School Outreach Programs. Each season Craven Concerts invites county music teachers, exceptional music students and their families to attend all Craven Concert performances as our guests.

In past seasons, Craven Concerts has been able to delight young students with Fairy Tale Operas and performances in their schools by visiting artists and has sponsored Master Classes for high school chorus students with the support of local community foundations, community arts and woman’s groups, patrons, donors, benefactors, and sponsors.

An important component Craven Concerts’ school outreach is our Musical Instrument Donation Program. Through this program, musical instruments are donated to Craven Concerts, refurbished by Fuller’s Music, and donated by our organization to county school band programs. To date Craven Concerts has donated 4 pianos and more than 50 band instruments to deserving students.

 

The Craven County Schools administration, teachers, and students continue to express their sincere appreciation for the cultural enrichment Craven Concerts provides.
